Creativity – Use it or lose it.

Long story short (because quite frankly the less typing I do the better) is that I pledged to join the 30 days of creativity more here. I’ll post each days project here, and in a flickr set and the project’s flickr set.

Day 30 – the end. but is it…

Day 29, almost to the end. This process has been something I plan to repeat every so often.

Day 28 – Theme for the day is History. Summed up the history of the world in 2 pages.

Day 27 – Inspiration for the day was Grandmas. How things may have turned out differently if she sent a football.

Day 26 – I released another mongrel at the Mall of america this time.

Day 25-started up the More Mongrels project.

Day 24-Mongrel re-release program. getting this one ready to be released back into the wild.

Day 23 – Plaid. for some reason (probably listening to the Rocky Horror Picture Show soundtrack last night) this popped into my head.

Day 22 – Inspiration for the day was Rock operas, so I took two musical and merged them into one. Remember kids, inspiration doesn’t mean assignment.

Day 21 – Impersonation.

Day 20 – Father’s day. Time with my boy.

Day 19 – Inspiration was robots, can’t pass up robots. Robots or ninjas or zombies.

Day 18 – Inspiration for the day was Tex Avery, I grew up watching his cartoons, he’s a big reason why I do what I do. I couldn’t come up with something I felt was fitting, but i’ve been working on this and finally got it to a good spot. So i’m going with this. Full size.

Day 17 – inspiration for the day was Fashion. The inspiration totally bailed me out. my attempt at Ghost rider on a vespa proved too much to handle tonight. so instead, here’s wolverine and his feminine side.

Day 16 – this is Doctor Strange, and for the non-nerds, the iPad of Agamotto is a play off his mystical amulet the Eye of Agamotto. this was also done by request, was going to do up a sweet Thor. mabey next time.

Day 15 – Hulk search for car. car not be found.

Day 14- Inspiration for the day was pizza, which can only mean…

Day 13 - theme of the day was Twins, so I used photos of buildings in the TWIN cities to give Spidey a local backdrop.

Day 12 – Vengeance lunches at D’Amico and Sons. Inspiration for today was “fanny packs’ hence the batman

Day 11 – almost a week and half in and I finally get around to a superhero. I’m must be losing it in my old age. Look forward to a set of heros to follow.

the theme today was mustaches, so as a bonus this my phone, i painted a months ago.

Day 10 – Inspiration for today was a yo-yo. I didn’t really plan on going with the theme today, but after I took this photo it screamed for an old school toy. The photo was taken with my celly, a Google myTouch 3g, using an app called FX camera. It seems to be a good android answer to Hipstamatic, free as well.

Day 9 – Inspiration theme was space, when I think space I think of Carl Sagan, when I think of Carl Sagan I think of this.

Day 8 – Elk boy
I have to say this started out going in a completely different direction then where it landed. I have a character drawn up, colored ready to go, but just couldn’t make it work. So i just started playing around to see where it took me, this is where it landed. I think elk boy needs a nemesis perhaps “The Cougar”

Day 7 – Hand hewn letter H
I picked up a cheap little book from Barnes and Noble of olde English and blackletter alphabets. Started making up my own variations of letters.
